MEMORIES OF 2004:

Some of us were freaked out over huge speeches we had to give, and we just started writing them the day before they were due.

Susan's website became hosted.

Three words: "Look Mike--SANDWICHES!"

There was a "chemical scare" at my high school.

Susan, Christina, Kim, Beckah, and Beth attended the Kelly Clarkson/Clay Aiken Independent Tour.

Elisa, Christina, Kim, Beth, Charlie, and Emily went to Susan and Heather's birthday party on January 31. First they went to Troy Lanes to bowl, then went back to Heather's house for more fun.

Susan sang Lonestar's "Amazed" at the Variety Show.

Corey came out of his box and starting hanging out with us outside of school (starting with seeing The Village with Heather and Susan).

Heather and Susan were invited to see 13 Going on 30 for Kim and Beth's birthday party, and they fell in love with Mark Ruffalo. Also, Susan and Heather had bought balloons for Kim and Beth and brought them to school.

Christina, Heather, and Beth joined synchronized swimming.

Kim, Beth, and Heather met Rooney and got their autographs. They obsessed over this exciting event for quite some time.

One time when we went shopping at Oakland Mall and went to FYE, Kim accidentally bought an Eminem poster, and Beth accidentally bought a 50 Cent poster. It wasn't really that funny at the time, but it sure as heck is now. Poor Kim and Beth!

"Come on baby, light my fire..."

We found out one of our hot seniors has done drugs, and we were very disappointed. Heather and Christina wrote a beautiful poem:
"You used to be so hot
Until we found out you did pot
When you lit up that bong, you knew it was wrong
...and that's as far as we got"

Susan, Beth, Heather, and Kim discovered video club and their inner filmmakers.

Susan became a vegetarian.

Red Hot Chili Peppers + Socks + Pop bottles + Two hyper teenagers watching 'I Love the '90s' = wow.

Heather became a "doctor".

Susan and Heather got kicked out of Spencer Gifts at Oakland Mall.

Heather, Susan, Kim, and Beth all loved The Goonies, so they bought shirts.

Susan tormented Beckah and Christina with her talk of fruitcakes.

Susan and Heather loved Jon Peter Lewis from season 3 of American Idol. Beckah supported Diana, and Susan couldn't stand her, so they had a fun time arguing.

For some reason, everyone seemed to become addicted to playing cards.

Susan and Kim had interesting conversations in history. ("Hug him!" "You hug him!") (What's my name, Susan?" "I don't know your name, Kim...what's my name?")

Heather, Beth, and Kim had their wisdom teeth removed.

Heather got pink eye waaay too many times.

Kim, Beth, Christina, and Heather started Driver's Ed.

5. Heather, Kim, Beth, Susan, and Corey saw Ladder 49 on the day it was released (October 1).

4. On October 29, Kim, Beth, Heather, and Susan saw The Village for $.50 each in honor of Joaquin's birthday (which was October 28), and then spent the night at Susan's. They watched SpaceCamp, The Buried Secret of M. Night Shyamalan, and some of Signs in the morning.

3. Susan, Kim, Beth, Heather, Christina, and Beckah saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban right after school on the day it was released (June 4).

2. The Village. Enough said.

1. Susan, Heather, Kim and Beth walked to Hill Elementary together. There, they went in the puddle and then played basketball. Afterward, they walked to Heather's house and decided they wanted to eat at Pizza Hut. Heather's mom drove, and when they were finished eating, Heather got all freaked out because a few of the Gacs came. Then Susan's mom picked them up, and they went back to Susan's house to watch The Goonies.
